Charles Gold is the conservative Republican judicial candidate for Bexar County Court 13. He was born in Houston, TX and raised in Fredericksburg, TX. He proudly served in the Army and National Guard. Gold graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Gold pursued his passion in criminal justice and attended St. Mary's Law School in San Antonio where he graduated in the top 11% of his class and was selected to be a part of the exclusive Law Review organization. Charles served as a Bexar County prosecutor for two & a half years under District Attorney, Susan Reed, where he tried and won over 20 criminal cases, served as first chair in two courts, and was actively involved in the county wide Drug Court program. After gaining strong trial experience as a prosecutor for Bexar County, he opened his own law firm in 2006 as a leading criminal defense attorney specializing in DWI's, family violence, assaults, drug abuse, and many other criminal offenses. He also has experience with civil law to include adoptions, divorce, and contracts.
Charles loves to spend time with his family (married with three children), fish, hunt, travel, and hike during his time away from helping others across this great state of Texas.
